A historical fiction thriller, Devil’s Island follows the trials and tribulations of a few fictitious prisoners, who are used as hunters by the prison guards. Their job is to re-capture prisoners who attempt to escape the jungle island, bringing them back at any cost… dead or alive!

Before we play, come meet Steve Townshend for a Q&A session about freelancing with Wizards of the Coast…
Steve Townshend is a freelance designer for Wizards of the Coast. His D&D credits include Monster Manual 3, Demonomicon, Monster Vault: Threats to the Nentir Vale, The Madness at Gardmore Abbey, Mordenkainen’s Magnificent Emporium, Heroes of the Feywild, and a smattering of articles for Dragon, Dungeon, and Polyhedron magazines. Steve studied theater and creative writing at Ohio University. After graduation he moved to Chicago, where he studied improvisation under Del Close and performed at local improv theaters like ImprovOlympic (now iO), the Playground, and the Annoyance. He spent his twenties touring with professional Shakespeare companies across the U.S. and Canada before changing his focus to fiction writing. His two favorite original designs for D&D are the banderhobbs from Monster Manual 3 and Oublivae, Demon Queen of Desolation, from Demonomicon.

Before we play, come meet Pat Loboyko for a Q&A session about his artwork…
Pat Loboyko began his artistic career at the tender age of four, when his parents gave him crayons and scrap paper to help combat his restlessness during weekly Sunday mass. Since then his medium of choice has evolved from crayon to watercolor to Wacom tablet,  and he has left the pews of St. Nicholas to create artwork in the more appropriate confines of his lovely little hovel in Logan Square. A professional illustrator since 2003, he has worked for a myriad of gaming companies and publishers, including Games Workshop, Green Ronin, Fantasy Flight, White Wolf, J!NX, and Kobold Quarterly. He has contributed artwork to the Song of Ice and Fire Roleplaying Game and was the lead artist on Witch Hunter: The Invisible World and the newest edition of Arcanis, both published by Paradigm Concepts. His latest work can be found in The Laundry and Cthulhu Britannica: Shadows over Scotland from Cubicle 7. Pat refuses to take part in edition wars, crusades for the return of ROM  to Marvel Comics, and looks forward to meeting you.
