Medical Report 04/20/2010 UPDATED

It was great fun seeing everyone at McCormick Place for C2E2. I was very humbled this weekend by all the support shown to First Aid Comics.  So many people stopped by the booth to say hello. And I really couldn’t believe how many people were wearing our T-Shirts. Thank you to everyone for your business and friendship. I am very grateful.

Over the weekend we scheduled two more local creators to come to FIRST AID COMICS on May 1st for Free Comic Book Day. We are really excited to have Rene Castellano and David Gruba come to the shop and show off their work. Not to mention our very own Kenya Fulton, who will be at the shop to draw and sketch!

CHECK LIST FOR Saturday May 1st:

1. Free comics, posters and heroclixs!

2. Great Artists/Writers: Rene Castellano, David Gruba and Kenya Fulton! Want to know about creating comics or how to draw? Ask these guys!

3. Door Prizes through out the day: Full  Ring Lantern Sets!

4. Unconfirmed, but fingers crossed! Classy jazz music while you celebrate comics! (Well, I couldn’t get Spider-man to come, so we are improvising! Work with me!)

5. The Big Big James is Terrified Sale: 20% OFF STORE WIDE SALE! Everything in the store will be 20% off! Even the stuff I don’t want to sell at 20% off!

Two last interesting comic items. My mother, who dragged me into my first comic shop, forwarded this interesting article on the Great Jack Kirby:Jack Kirby’s Heroes in Waiting
